4 | Managing Flowte Websites

Website Design Settings                                                                         

Flowte allows you to customise the online storefront to match your branding. You can choose to show an
image as background, or solid colour. You can also set the text colour & background colour for the entire 
sales flow. Matching  your branding to your existing website provides a strong brand identity.
Navigate to Fan Engagement > Website.

Images


  • Upload Logo - Upload your organisations logo here. Recommended format is .jpg or .png. Use .png if you require transparency.
  • Background Image - This is the background image used in Flowte. We recommended the image is landscape in profile and at least the same resolution of your monitor

Website Settings

If you make any changes in the Website section remember to confirm them by using the 'Save Website Settings' button on the top right of the section.



General settings
  • Header Height - This is the header bar at the top of your online storefront. Choose the height, measured in pixels, that suits your needs.
  • Header Colour - The colour of the header bar in your online storefront. You can change this using the included colour selector or input your own hex colour value.
  • Logo URL - If a user was to click your organisations logo at the top left of the Online Storefront they would be taken to the web address you put in here.
  • Font Type - Choose the font you would like to use here.
  • Button Size - Choose the size you would like the cart button to be online. Default = Large. Useful if you have made a narrow header and want the cart button to look in proportion.
  • Font Colour - The colour of the font used in the headings in the storefront.
  • Background Colour - Background colour for the storefront.
  • Background Image - Display background image on your storefront.
Sales Settings
  • Item Button Primary - This is the colour of the buttons used to select your Products, Events, Services, etc.
  • Item Button Secondary - This is the 'on hover' colour of the buttons. I.E. When you see when you move your mouse over a button 
  • Cart Button Primary - The colour of the Cart Button.
  • Cart Button Secondary Colour - This is the 'on hover' colour for the Cart button.

Website Sales Flow & Website Layout                                                   

Flowte allows you to customise the online storefront flow to suit the specific needs of your events. You can
choose from a range of configuration options by navigating to admin > settings > Storefront Settings Section



Toggle Switches & Options

Named toggle switchesIn this section you can make the following changes using the named toggle switches:
Event Switches: Configure if events should be available via online, via back office or both
Product Switches: Configure if products should be available via online, via back office or both
Package Switches: Configure if packages/ season tickets should be available via online, via back office or both
Event Description Switches: Configure if event descriptions should be available via online, via back office or both
Event Description Mobile Roll Up: Minimise event descriptions when on mobile devices to optimise for smaller screens 
Auto Print: Configure if a physical ticket should print automatically or by user prompt after the completion of an order
Seatmap ticket table: Configure if a table of ticket types should be shown below seating charts
Marketing Question online: This controls whether your customers are asked a marketing question while purchasing 
Storefront item date online: This turns on / off the button showing the button element shown for date of an event  
Storefront Segmentation Online: Hides / show the online buttons which separate out events, products and packages 
Seatmap Legend: This switch turns on/off the chart of prices for either the back office or online flow as needed
Storefront item location online: This toggles on or off the name of the store
Storefront list view: This switch makes the list view the default, if set to no then the default will be the “tiles view”
Password tickets online: This switch turns on off the password input box online 
Customisable URLs: To customise your storefront URL just create a support case by clicking the help icon > click cases

Custom Field Options

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Storefront Settings Section

Custom Field 1,2 & 3: You can add up to 3 custom fields here & define if they should be available via online, back
office or both. You can also specify if the custom field should be shown in the contacts contact record or only against
their individual order records. This is what will happen if this is set to no and is the default setting.

Custom Date: Add a custom date field here & define if  it should be available via online, via back office
or both. This will display a formatted date input box in the purchase flow. This is commonly used to collect the date of
birth, season ticket renewal date or other useful date information which you need to save about your patrons. You
can also specify if the custom date field should be shown in the contacts contact record or solely against their 
individual order records. This is what will happen if this is set to no and is the default setting

Linking your website to Flowte


Linking your website with Flowte or getting url's to use in your marketing campaigns is very simple. There are lots of
different types of links and ways to group your events, products and packages. Your various options are outlined below:

Getting Event URLS

To get the urls you need to link you can go to Ticketing > Events > Select an event >You will now see these buttons at
the top of the page: When you click on these a page will open up and you can use the url that has opened to link to the option that is best suited for your needs:

Event URL: This is a direct link to your event.  The button opens the online storefront flow for this specific event only
Venue URL: This is a direct link to your venue.  The button opens the online storefront flow for all events at this venue only
Storefront URL: This is the default link for the storefront and will display all your current active events except the hidden events.
Categories URL: This button shows your list of all events grouped by their category tag eg show all "Playoff" events
Season Ticket / Package URLS: Navigate to Ticketing > seasons > get the url by clicking the "View" button shown below



Configuring your purchase flows & required fields                                                           

This allows you to change the flow your team or your customers will experience.
1. To enable or edit navigate to Admin > Settings.  There are three purchase flows you can configure (see below)



Back Office: This will affect only sales done in the back office storefront
Online: This will affect only sales online but not for mobile devices
Mobile: This will affect only sales online but for only mobile devices

Types of flow:

Section Table: All sections shown by default in one table. Better for events with fewer ticket types. This flow is helpful 
when your customers need to buy tickets from multiple sections in the same order 


Section Buttons: Each section display its own button. Recommended for events with more than one section. This flow is helpful
to avoid having to display a very long list of ticket types to your customers

 
Section Dropdown: Sections are selected from a dropdown menu. Recommended if you have a lot of sections. This flow is helpful 
to avoid having to display a very long list of sections ticket to your customers

  
Policies & Terms of Service
To edit your policies and terms of service navigate to Admin > Settings. You will the table shown in this image. In this section
you can customise all of the options outlined below. These settings are all applied organisation wide:


Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, & Terms of Service: Enter your policies in the relevant input boxes.

Customer Question / Order Note - This optional question will be displayed when the user is asked for their contact information. Most client use this as an "order notes" field. Any notes taken here can viewed and reported on via analytics > detail report by turning on the filter called "answer" and column visibility column called "answer" alongside their other required columns on the report

Custom Online Marketing "opt in" QuestionsThe marketing opt-in question can be customised. This is shown in the
online sales flow. If blank, the default question will be used. Each contact has their preference stored against their record
This can be edited on the contact record under "marketing opt in" Your question will be displayed per below:



IFrames with Flowte 

I-frames were officially disabled on the 1st January 2020.  The reason for this is for increased security
for organisations and the customers using their website.  If you try to add the Flowte Online Storefront to a website using
an iframe it will display as blank.  You must link directly to Flowte Online Websites.
