Overview
Bundles and flex packs let you sell several shows together, rewarding audiences for committing to more of your season.
● Bundle (season ticket): One ticket that gives entry to a fixed set of performances, for example a season ticket for all five main house productions in your autumn season, with the same seat for each show. Customers don’t need a separate ticket for each performance
● Flex pack: Customers choose their own shows from a list and get a discount when they book a minimum number, for example choose any four shows from our ten and save 20%
Bundles
A bundle is made up of three parts:
● The individual events that are included, for example each production in the season
● A bundle base event, which holds the bundle ticket types and prices
● The bundle rules, which link everything together
Create the individual events
● Create the first event in your season in Calendar & Scheduling > Events. If show details aren’t confirmed yet, call it Show 1 and rename it later
● Give it both single ticket types and bundle ticket types, for example Adult and Adult Season Ticket, Concession and Concession Season Ticket
● Price the single ticket types as normal. Price the bundle ticket types at zero and set them to hidden in the ticket settings. The bundle price is set later, on the base event
● When the first event is finished and checked, use Copy Booking to create the rest of your season: set the number of copies and the names, then click Copy Booking
Before you copy, check that:
● All events in the bundle use the same venue and seating plan
● For a venue with both reserved and unreserved areas, the reserved and unreserved sections are combined together, and you choose Yes on Copy All Times when copying
● All events are in the future. A bundle with a past event becomes unavailable
● Every event has both single and bundle ticket types, for example if there is an Adult single ticket there is also an Adult season ticket
● No ticket types have passed their off sale date, or the bundle becomes unavailable
● All ticket types have the same delivery methods across all events
● The ticket types on the first event are exactly right, as they will be copied to every event
● Any upsell items, such as programmes or interval drinks, are set up on the first event
● The Selection Type dropdown on the first event is set to Buttons
● All bundle ticket types are set to hidden in the sources dropdown in ticket settings, so they can’t be bought individually
● In a venue with unreserved areas, you rename those areas on each event: open the event, click Edit Prices and enter a name in Custom Name, for example Standing or Studio Seating
Create the bundle base event
● Add one extra event to your season in the same way. This is your bundle base event, used to set the bundle prices
● Give it a clear name for reporting, for example 2026/27 Season Ticket
● Add your bundle ticket types and their prices, for example Adult Season Ticket and Concession Season Ticket
● Only ticket types that are common to every event in the bundle will be available
Create the bundle
● Go to Email & Promotions > Bundles & Flex Packs
● Choose Create Bundle
● Enter the Season Name and Season Description as you want them to appear online, for example 2026/27 Main House Season
● Under Select Bookings, choose all the events in the bundle, including the bundle base event
● Under Select Discount, choose No Discount. If it isn’t listed, click New Discount to add it
● Optionally, choose a Marketplace Opt-in setting, a promoter under Select Promoter, and a design under Digital Pass Designs (see below)
● Click Create
The bundle now appears on your online booking pages and at the box office as a ticket customers can buy, and is listed in the table on the right of the screen.
A seat can only be sold as part of a bundle if it is free for every performance in the bundle. If the seat has already been sold for any one of the shows, it can’t be sold as a season ticket.
If a bundle stops being available
A bundle becomes unavailable if:
● The bundle’s booking category is removed from one or more of its events
● The bundle’s booking category is added to a new event
● An event in the bundle is made inactive, sells out or becomes unavailable
● No ticket types are common to every event, for example because of ticket rules
To fix it, deactivate the original bundle and create a new one. In rare cases you may also need to remove the booking category tag from the events and try again.
Edit a bundle
Deactivate a bundle:
● Go to your list of offers and click Deactivate next to the bundle
Change the events in a bundle:
● Open the event you want to remove in Calendar & Scheduling > Events
● In the Booking Category field, click the X beside the category tag to remove it
● Click Save
● Create a new, updated bundle in Email & Promotions > Bundles & Flex Packs, following the steps above
Change the bundle image
The image customers see beside the bundle online, for example your season artwork, is set from your list of offers.
● Go to your list of offers, where your bundles are listed
● Click the current image, or the placeholder if none is set
● Hover over the image and click the upload arrow icon
● Choose the image file. The maximum size is 20MB, but smaller images load faster
● The page refreshes and the new image shows at the box office and online
Bundle designs
Each bundle can have its own e-ticket design, so your season ticket holders receive a ticket that matches your season branding.
● Choose a design under Digital Pass Designs when creating the bundle, or
● Add or change it afterwards from the Templates column in the bundles table
Customers who buy more than one bundle can download the tickets for all their bundles in a few clicks. E-ticket designs are created in Email & Promotions > Template Designs.
Season ticket holders can also be given a contact card, a reusable card whose barcode gives access to every performance in their bundle. See the Template Designs article for how to design contact cards, and for setting up a separate season ticket confirmation email.
Give a promoter access to a bundle
● Create a role for your promoters with the access they need
● When creating the bundle, choose the promoter under Select Promoter. Promoters must be assigned when the bundle is created
● The promoter can then see the bundle along with any events or products they already have access to
Flex packs
Flex packs let customers build their own season by choosing the shows they want. They must choose at least a minimum number of shows to get the discount.
● Go to Email & Promotions > Bundles & Flex Packs
● Choose Create Flex Pack
● Enter a name, for example Pick 4 and Save
● Add a description telling customers how it works, for example Choose at least 4 of our 10 autumn shows and save 20%
● Select the events customers can choose from
● Set the minimum number of events customers must choose
● Choose the discount percentage
● Click Create Flex Pack
Customers then pick the shows they want from the flex pack. Once they have chosen the minimum number, the discount is applied.

Tips
● Set up and check the first event carefully before copying, as every setting is copied to the rest of the season
● Launch season tickets before single tickets go on sale, so season ticket holders get the best seats
● Use the Renewals feature in Ticketing Integration to let last season’s holders keep their seats
● Give each bundle a clear name for reporting, and check sales in Reports & Insights
